I'm a full-stack web developer based in the Philippines. I build websites, apps, and open-source tools — mostly the unglamorous kind that solve one specific, real problem. My open-source work lives at github.com/buonzz, and my personal products at Product Hunt.
I don't think of myself as a brilliant coder. My real work is translation: taking a vague product idea and turning it into something that actually ships — then reading the requirement people feel but can't put into words. That part still can't be automated.
This blog is where I think out loud. Some of it is technical — the tools I'm building, the things I broke and fixed. Some of it isn't. I write about psychology, geopolitics, and why people want what they want, because I've never believed those were separate from the work. To build something people use, you first have to understand the people.

I'm not an ordinary vibe coder. I come with the battle-hardened experience of manually writing production-grade code. I might use AI tools to generate code, but I know how to read it — and I can spot architectural, cost, and business problems by intuition.
I'm also familiar with AI governance. Coming from the real estate business, I know how not to violate a company's privacy policy — including setting up an offline Ollama instance when data can't leave the building. I'm aware of AI slop and hallucination laundering, and I build around them.
Away from the keyboard, I shoot FPV drone footage and candid photography, edit in DaVinci Resolve, and read more about psychology than is probably healthy. I'm an introvert who prefers one deep conversation to a room full of small talk.
